Is their really that big a difference between the 2 tires in 29.5?

I have run the MT 29.5 W tire and it is a good tire. I think the limited street true 10.5 tire has come a long way since the last time I tired one. Maybe someone else hase experience with the true 10.5 tire?

I run both of them and if your class doesn't make you run the true 10.5 run the w and you will save yourself alot of headache, alot easier to hook

The "W"is Way better...

"W" tire is a "no go" in most true 10 inch tire races unless specifically stated they are ok to run.

Most W's are stiff sidewall, which makes a ton of difference with bigger HP & weight.

Its, what, 1/2" to 3/4" more tread width. My 31x10.5w's are about 11-1/4" wide versus my 29.5x10.5s are 10.5".
