Im reading a book that say's anything beyond 1.6 "the valve acceleration may exceed the spring's ability to control the valve at higher engine speed's and will lower rpm at which valve float occur's" and should not be revved over 5500/6000rpm, and possibly lose power and bend valve's due to valve float. I was thinking of using a Comp Cams or Harland Sharp 1.65 for a little more Ex lift..Std rocker's not shaft..

is this a factory type spring? as long as the springs can handle it, you'll be fine. you should be around .060" to coil bind.

No It's a good k-motion, Lift aint the issue, I don't want no valvetrain issue's due from too much ratio

The combination will tell me if it needs or wants a higher ratio rocker. If you have enough spring, it will be fine, but you will have to change pushrod when going higher ratio as geometry will be altered.. If it needs it, I would just go 1.6.
