If your car is set up to run the 1/8 then a 1/4 time won't be relavant. You'll run out of motor way before you get to the 1/4 and it won't be an acurate representation. If you change the car to run 1/4 then your 1/8 times will slow down. JMO

It's really geared to run a strong 1/8 on the jug. But I run in a couple index classes on motor in 1/8. I'm thinking of running one 1/4 mile on motor. With my gear I should be able to run about 155 mph..... So it's a 9:00 index. Car has been some low 5:70s so I'm just trying to see how close I'm going to be.

not in the same league as you guys but back it the 60s ran a max wedge ply set up for 1/4. didnt change anything for the 1/8th there was 4 secs. difference almost every time. did the numbers posted and 1/4 times were 3 tenths slower on paper.
