my downpipe is short total about 15 16 inches.. I put the sensor 10 inches down but now it is only 6 inches from the end. Will this affect the holley 02 sensor? Should I move it closer to the turbine???

On short a DP's the o2 isn't very accurate tell your moving a decent amount of exhaust and I'd rather have it closer to the housing then the end.. My last setup just had a 4" 90 that was maybe 10" long and the o2 was maybe 4" from the housing..

What consistently works best for me in those cases is to put the sensor right off the turbine using an AEM heatsink O2 bung. This gets you as much pipe as possible after the sensor. I have no issues with sensors failing, using this bung, even when used pre-turbine right off the head.
