ok so you left the front of the springs in the stock location and just moved the back ?? Interesting , Lets see last time out ( 3 years ago ) I went 10.90 @ 125 on a 175 shot with a shitty 1.70 60ft time on a 27x10.5x15 et street I've since then refreshened the motor I need to tune it again and the nitrous again , but since Fontana is closed I have no were to go ( don't have a tow vehicle )
I put these shackles on the the springs to moves them in & only min tubed it to the frame rail (uni-body rail) . Detroit speed says there not for a first gen nova but the work & don't rub the body . what does ur car run ? im looking for someone to run at the next match race @ barona . when I bought all the calvert stuff I didn't know about smith , I did just install a smith front clip w QA1 coilovers , motor plate , midplate , manual rack .
ha ha that's funny I'm running the same tire on a 15x8 wheel with 5" of back space , I didn't mini tub mine , I'm running a heidts 4 link and can't stand it cause it has very limited adjustability in it so I'm switching back to the leafs , Did you have to relocate your leafs or are they in the stock position , sorry I don't have face book maybe I need to start. I'm wanting to run smith race craft split monos , assasin bars and sliders with the same shock as you , I was planning on mini tubing and doin a frame notch so I could run a 275 on a 15x10
fab 9 , 3.50 gear , qa1 single , split-mono , caltracs , mini-tub , 255 mt drag radial .seems to be working fine but im going to start cranking up the bottle on the new engine . there are tons of pics on facebook .
