Always liked your stuff. When I get some budget room , I'd like a power adder port done.

More progress on the Budget 351C heads. This series of pictures is installing a lower plate on the intake face, installing deck plugs and rough milling the deck surface to install on a Windsor block.

Stuska, are the guides in those heads standard. Seen any issues with abnormal guide wear if they are?

No, they have a bastard size guide , they are .507. The guides and seats they come with are not the best quality but they have lasted three years in a dirt track engine. I have never had any come loose or fall out.

I put new seats and guides in these heads because they are mine and I can afford to fix them how I want to.

I like the casting, I wish I could get it without seats or guides installed.

I'm not sure if you guys have access to the AFD line of Cleveland heads . Yes, they are Chinese cast as well but the quality is very good. Uses good guides (CHE) and seats as well. They're about $500 more than a set of bare PC heads but they can be used as delivered u like the PC stuff.

The afd heads look nice but I don't care for the low exhaust port.

Stuska,
How much higher are the exhaust ports on the procomp compared to the afd?

The PC head exhaust port is very close to Yates height. The AFD is more stock height.
