the low down on this car
bought in california in 1988 seen 5 to 6 engines (counting rebuilds) 1-350 (came with car), 2-454's (nitrous),1-498 (nitrous), 2-540's (1st was stock block, 2nd still currently running)
transmissions dont ask...many bellhousings ripped off, cases split etc.
originally came as a 10 bolt car, swapped out the 10 bolt for a 12 bolt in 90-91
last time raced went 9.80's "hooked up" at norwalk
at dragway 42 went a 9.78 on 28x12's

reason why a 75?...well why not?? my dad and i have noticed for the past 10 years or so these are becoming "popular" in the area not to mention the craze started when randy walker with the mid 70s el camino pro mod pretty much started it all.

the point is...were not followers to where people like building the same thing in different ways. i guess the point of this build is "dare to be different" and this is just what it is.

currently at an estimated weight considering the weight used to be 3950 to be honest we really dont know dad and i gotten into alot of debates about it

him: 3550

me: somewhere in between 3400 to 3600

after completely shaving literally weight anywhere conceived but still keeping the body rigid...the best thing i could tell you is that basically right now were considering a fiberglass front end for this thing. considering that anywhere else wants an arm and leg for a pair of front fenders for this thing.
