26 degree exhaust split?

Whats the intake centerline?

Not bashing.... Trying.to learn something........ That is unbelievably stout man. Peak torque at 5300 and the horsepower is still climbing at 7500 with a 236 degree intake lobe.

installed strait up. stock rockers, stock '07 re-used lifters
as for the cam specs, thats all Bret, he figured out the valvetrain from the lobes to the valves to get it to work like this.
After the first couple pulls the dyno was showing 666hp @ 7500, and Dale the dyno owner decided we needed to re-calibrate it, because the numbers were rediculous. the next pull it came down to 618, and from there we fine tuned it with various spacers/timing/jetting to get to where it is on the run above.
Thanks for the compliments, hope it runs as hard on the track as the dyno.

Ok... now i see that lobe going that high.... now i understand the extra exhaust duration....

Bro... i know Built bottom end motors that people have spent BIG money on that do not make that kinda power.

Id be very happy...... Hell Im Very impressed.

i wanna map that camshaft. lol

Nice power, so the power is fairly flat... so where you thinking of shifting it? I'd love to heard how it does, take a lot of notes!!

WOW, that's a monster. I'm not familiar with that brand of dyno, how does it compare to a dynojet, dynocom, dyno dynamics, etc in terms of being loose? Even on a really loose dyno, that's big.

Did Bret do the heads too? I knew they liked a lot of split, but I didn't think it was quite that much. Then again, I can't even begin to understand heads on the level that guys like him do. I wonder if it has anything to do with it being carbureted? Hoping he'll chime in and give some insight for those of us trying to learn something. Can't wait to hear what it does at the track!

well originally we thought it would peak at 72-7300ish, and the power would hang on to 7700 ish where I'd shift. unreal that it held enough torque to build more hp up to 75-7600.
I dont want to push my luck TOO FAR with the original pistons, so I'll keep 7700 as my shift point and set the limiter to 7800

I really dont know anything about this dyno either, but Dale dyno's a fair amount of engines, and he is impressed with this thing's output too.
As for porting, there is none, I just cleaned up some rough casting in the ports myself, and the valvejob is oem, I just lapped the valves to make sure they would seal, there is 30K miles on the heads.
