What are you packing the mufflers with? Anything for a 5" pipe and about a 7" case?

The packing is a commercial grade insulation that I have acces to. It is a much better material than what muffler companies are using do to the cost of it.

Silicate type Insulation 98% pure textile grade silica fiber
It is non-respirable, incombustible, asbestos free
Maximum continuous temperature – 1800*F

I does not look like perforated tubing. Looks like mesh.

We made my aluminum mufflers for my aluminum exhaust. We could not find perforated pipe any where. So we had to make our own. Even done on a machine it was not fun. haha Turned out great when done at least.
