I have heard to use a thicker alum tubing right off the turbo especially if its a bend.

More curious about the flange . Dragzilla mentioned a problem with melting the centering ring .

I've got a year on mine. Zero issues. And zero sign of what was mentioned in the other thread so far.

I've got a year of daily driving mine. The only real problem is the expansion. If its mounted solidly it will break the tab or the tubing will kink if it has bends

Why not just toss the aluminum flange in the lathe and put a steel insert in it? That should keep the aluminum flange from crushing.

I ran aluminum right off the housings.they are the first gen precision promod housings. never had an issue. the problem now is that a lot of companies only sell stainless or mild steel flanges.

I plan to run a foot or two of stainless out of the turbo then use a v-band to switch it to aluminum for the full exhaust.

So how are you mounting it? How soon off the turbo is your first mount?
