No one needs to know what my car does, it wasn't put together for them. Therefore, why am I required to make everything public knowledge?

The tracks that support this are thinking it is helping the head count but it will sooner than later bite them in the ass. N/T racing is like having to sit and watch (go to the snack bar) while jr dragsters are running. It is boring. It is like watching cars pass by on the freeway, nothing more but for the noise. At our local track the prep sucks for 4 of the 5 hours they are open because they have a quota on the amount used each event.
It is basically a no prep track until the N/T cars come out. It is a fucking joke.
The track in question always had a good turn out but we'll see how long that lasts.
Agreed. Have to add you,me,my bud,and a few others here to the "fucking pussy" list.

Hell no, you're absolutely right.

We should start a new class, N/L (No Look). When cars in that class are scheduled to run, the track should make everyone leave the stands and go to the pit area. Hell, they should even be required to cover their ears so they don't hear the sounds produced by YOUR car.

No one respects personal privacy any longer.

Kinda sounds like what happens when bracket racers or jr. dragsters pull up.

Bracket racers don't care who knows, so the track operator now has a bracket race mixed in. It pays a $1,000 purse for a $20 entry with no b*ybacks. I have never seen him get more than 30 bracket entries, so he has always lost at least $400 (it's usually more) on entry vs. payout, but he has NEVER cut the purse. He does it solely so that his spectator crowd has something to watch.

The only drawback for the bracket racers is that you have to be careful you don't run over any spectators in either the staging lanes or when you are doing your burnout. I'll have to get some pictures, or better yet video. The crowd is really something to see.

This might give kind of a feel for it. The crowd is this big whenever they open the gate.

Take care. Tom Worthington

So the guy is taking bracket racers and n/t racers and mixing it up in 1 race? Thatís not anything new really. They normally squeeze index or even tnt in with a pro mod race here. Never seen bracket racing mixed in, mostly due to the bracket guy will bitch if the track isnít just perfect for them

Sounds like it is time to start boycotting tracks that allow NT people on to the property and/or forcibly making them leave and never return.

I remember in high school, when they would hand back the tests, they would announce the scores as they were handed out.....with your name.
In college, they would post all of the scores with names from best to worst or alphabetical. Everybody could see how hard you did or didn't work. Nobody got their feelings hurt, because they owned what they earned.
Now we gotta be careful not to hurt anyone's feelings. Lest they be flung into a lifestyle of flat billed hats worn funny, pants a saggin, juul tuggin twats who aren't responsible for nuttin.

You left out the throttle stop shit. Now that is right in there with Golf and Jr Dragsters. It is one step above N/T though.

We've been racing NT on the west coast for about ten years now. I had assumed everyone else in the country was running no time until 1320video did an interview with me at a Boddie race in April and I wouldn't say how fast my ride was on camera. I got trashed pretty good in the comments section being called everything from being a dick to being an arrogant ass. Not everyone wants to advertise their times when they are grudge racing for money or list racing. That's just the way it is. I didn't like NT at first, but now it's normal. People you race with know how fast you are and they play the same game, so there is a mutual respect that we don't share the other guys time, even if we know it.
