Try it with a good course diced Polish Kubasa (ham sausage), not some crappy kubasa from the piggy wiggly. We were using ham or Canadian back bacon before but the sausage is so much better

Good shit. Gonna make it again and change the meat to whatever strikes my fancy at the store.lol First time I used hamburger meat seasoned with a bunch of stuff in the cabinet, cuase I don't care for most store bought sausages.

Just for those who are wondering like I was, I made a double recipe but decided to cook each seperate and if it didn't work mix it together at the end. (#1) was like the recipe minus sausage(I used Morrell Smoked Sausage), and (#2) I used a small pack of cream cheese instead of the velveeta. It was a split decision here with the family up. There were some who preferred each, but NO complaints.
Thanks for the recipe, this is a great starter and you can change it up how you like and it is delicious and EASY.

I made it the other night. a double batch and used 1 lb of reg saugage and 1 lb of Hot. added some fresh peppers to give a little kick as well. It was Quite Tasty!!
