Default Light summer fare

What you got!

Today, my wife and I enjoyed a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich, I added bacon, grilled onions & jalapenos to mine, good stuff!

light summer fare, you're crazy bringing that shit to me in the summer lol. 100 degree, 100% humidity, and you're bringing me soup. You crazy

diced tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil, garlic, and sugar. Add more balsamic vinegar if need, and add salt and pepper to taste. Stir mixture and let it sit for 15 minutes, or up to a couple of hours. Slice baguette

Caprice Salad.

I roll prosciutto around cantaloupe

Big favorite too....

To go a step further....

I usually eat some combo of pizza or Chinese food once a week in the fall/winter.

something about coldness and those foods with some football and fire place.

Come spring and summer I don't touch it. just too hot.

I haven't had Chinese food since the super bowl in February. Pizza right around the same time

I can close my eyes and picture it...
First really cold fall weekend. Left the window cracked and it put a chill in the house and on your bones. Football starts in a bit and you can smell the tomato soup coming around in the oven.

The tomato soup was my wife's idea, she recently got dentures and is having a rough time eating hard foods right now, I wanted the grilled cheese sandwich, and yeah, I'm still waiting on the gum job.

like ahi tuna, salad, water crests? Tuna Poke? Love that shit.

Side dinner I do when it gets hot. I do a Caesar salad with granny smith diced apples. Then cut pork chops real thin and throw it all together. Another light refreshing yet gets you filled up dinner for summer.

Sorry to hear about the dentures. My grandfather had a real hard time adjusting.

Yeah no shit, me too, this has been on going since March, but I know the gum job after the long recovery process is over will be worth it.

I started the process of pulling 2 teeth and getting 2 implants at the end of LAST Sept!!

It's been 10 months of pure BULLSHIT,,couldn't eat solid food for 3 months,,after that I had to "Chipmonk chew" everything. Going in today to get fitted for the teeth!!!!

Haven't had a steak since this started.

LOL I live in south Florida and work outside in 90+ heat and humidity all summer. And I love hot soup, even in the summertime; people think I’m nuts and they’re probably right

I hope it's all worth it, seeing what all she has gone thru has made me take much better care of my teeth.

Sauteed salmon patties, some of my vine ripened home-grown tomatoes, sprinkled with sea salt & cracked black pepper, garden fresh jalapeno pepper, nice and light on a hot summer day, good stuff.
