Default Barrel pumps

For those of you who are buying methanol by the drum, what kind of pump are you using to pull it out? Making the switch from gas to alcohol and will need a good pump.

I use one of these.

Gravity feed, work's good to about 10 gallons left.
Then, you have to raise the barrel & tip it.

For casual use, work's really good.

Local farm stores like Rural King ETC. have the metal pumps the look similar to the Harbor Junk stores. About $60. I use one for gas.

Anyone using air? I made an air barrel pump from PVC fittings. It screws in the barrel and has a 3/4" tube down into the barrel with a valve. Has a tire valve on it, pump air into the barrel and then open the valve and the fuel comes out the tube.

We use a stand that is on wheels. You stick it under the drum and roll it back on the wheels. One side is rounded. Very easy. Just make sure you use a locking quarter turn valve. No pumps needed.
