I have a lightening program for the SBF one. If I remember correctly it sheds 10-11 lbs.

Wow! To lighten it costs more than the intake itself! lol I guess it will be ran as is. I was looking to spend no more than 400.00.

Double cut carbide burr, wax, ear buds, dust mask, ear pro, face shield and time. It goes quick, just be conservative and with each cut slowly creep up on final cuts. It will be fine

Pretty common when paying the pro's for their experience and talents. Buying my 2928 was the cheap part, lol

Keep in mind... it takes a LOT of aluminum chips to add up to 10-15 pounds! With a hand grinder, you'll be at it for a LONG TIME! If using carbide burrs, the aluminum will clog up the flutes if you don't dip the burr in wax regularly as you go. Eastwood makes something called 'Grinders Grease' that I like. It's a hard, white wax substance in a can. Lower the burr into the can, quickly blip the switch to get in embedded in the burr... and go to town. Once the burr is hot, the wax will melt onto the burr. One can of Eastwood's Grinders Grease goes a long way.

You'll also want to get yourself looking like Darth Vader before you dive in to it. Glasses, face shield, HAT, ear plugs, respirator, etc... You'll be in your own little world, not aware of anything else around you for long periods of time. lol Wear a hat because you do not want chips in your hair. They tend to wash/fall out, and be a PITA. Had to get a chip dug out of my eye from that once. NOT fun.

Good Luck!

You won't need wheelie bars with such a heavy Intake 😂.

That's a plus but it will also kill weight transfer. I think I will port-match it and put it back in the box and pull it out when I run at sea level. At this elevation it may hurt hp more than help.
