Back from vacation and back at it. Decided to go with a Volvo fan. Made an aluminum fan shroud and put the radiator back in for good.

4" intake pipe fit perfect. Still will likely need a slight angle on the top side once I get the filter. Finished my drain sump as well. All I have left fabrication wise is the exhaust, last cold side bend and mounts for the scavenge pump and meth pump.

From there, wiring, some hose clamps and lots of tire smoke.

Cold side pipe finished after stopping off on my way home from work. 2 bungs for meth nozzles and the AIT sensor bung are in the bottom side of the pipe, out of view.

Almost finished the exhaust this morning. I just need to make some brackets to weld into the muffler for the hangers.

Also finished up the intake pipe. The filter was a tight squeeze and the hood just slightly crushes the corner. I wasn't about to hammer the fender well or downsize the filter.

Primary fab work is done. Black muffler blends in nicely.

Topped off the oil sump with a filter.

Definitely going to need to remove the spring pads in the rear to level things out a bit. Front sits a bit lower with the extra weight.

Why not pull air from behind the bumper by the cut out to the inside of the fog light where I would assume it is much cooler and somewhat force fed? Is that the stock muffler or just painted black? Either way looks very stock and stealthy.

Your plate is spot on.

There isn't enough room to get between the tire and the hot side pipe to run the filter into the bumper. That was my first choice. With two meth nozzles and a decent sized Intercooler I'm not too concerned. It's at least not behind the radiator. The muffler is a 3.5" in/out piece from Vibrant. They sounds great and the finish is pretty durable. inwanted a plate that wasn't vehicle specific and it matches pretty much anything I build on various levels, haha.

I run aluminum Vibrant 3.5 inch mufflers on my Blazer and am very happy with them. They sound great and my exhaust for both sides from the collector to dumps with hangers weight less then 8 pounds......... combined.

That's super-badass man! I want to buy it from you when it's all done!

Oh, and if it was mine, I would take it to all the local BMW dealerships and drop it off for some sort of "engine noise" or something, then play stupid when they start asking questions.

Coming along crazy! Messing with the dealership service advisors is amazing..used to do that @ the local Lexus stealership with my old modded gs400...straight piped with 18x10/18x11's...probably every tech would come out to the service drive to hawkeye it..and the other customers just grimmaced

Im dying to get this thing on the rod and have some fun. I'm hoping it runs cool but there are plenty of guys doing track days with the stock radiator and that's far more thermal stress than a few 3-4 gear pulls on the street.

Finished up the fuel pump wiring this morning.

Solid state relay for PWM control of the pumps.

Drilled and tapped the EGR blockoff as the boost/vacuum source.

Starting on the X20 to ecu wiring next.

Started the remaining engine wiring to the new x20 connector. Hopefully will have it wrapped up later in the week.

A 90 degree 3/8" tube stem to 1/4" push to connect is a perfect fit into the headlight washer grommet on the euro washer tank.
