Bare block a 455 weighs around 170 lbs If I remember right? I dont think a SBC is much less...maybe 20 lbs?? Donno it has been a while but I do know I can carry it myself I work out haha

How do you guys feel about selling cars, can you do it easily, or do you get attached to them?

According to this....http://www.celica-gts.com/forums/ind...c=12876.0....a Buick 455 weighs 600-640, and a SBC 400 with aluminum heads and intake is 470 pounds. Subtract another 75 pounds for my aluminum block and my motor is around 395 pounds, which is more than 200 pounds less than a stock Buick 455.

Could never sell the chevelle, but other stuff I dont really have an attachment to. I'm considering selling my 05 cummins. I bought it new with the intention of getting a big ass enclosed, but plans have changed. I have an open trailer, and the chevelle wont be much of a race car, so now I'm not sure I need this much of a truck anymore...

I get way too attached to mine, I struggle to sell any of them, got three currently, one has to go but keep changing my mind as to which one...

That is a lot of aluminum being compared to an old iron bitch of a buhog I will stay true to my tri shield power.
