Late model vehicle can bus interface for mph and engine rpm for ams2000! This allows a connection into obd2 ports or hard wired into the can bus of over 40 vehicle manufacturers and 350 different models that use can bus. No need for fitting a wheel speed sensor or trying to pick up engine rpm from a coil etc . This unit will provide the info to the ams2000 . Most street cars today have abs and sealed hubs with no access to anything for wheel speed.
Makes the installation on a street car that much easier!

Size of interface below . Then a picture of a interface built into the harness with a OBD2 plug set up. True plug and play.

No it is specifically only to bring in speed and rpm . Once we finish up the CAN software completely we will be able to bring everything in.

Any chance that will work a GM 411 PCM(2002 LS1b Truck PCM?
If so then you just made things simpler. Any chance of getting driveshaft RPM form stock VSS tailshaft sensor later on?

I do not think 2002 had can bus so it will not work however I may be wrong. This is something you will have to check. Vss sensor is something you can pick up now by hardwiring the signal with one wire

Just curious why datalogging AFRs isn't allowed with the basic. Is there a way to make it work without upgrading to pro? I'm doing blow thru so I would like to be able to do that without spending the extra coin on the pro.

No the pro is what offers all the datalogging , offset functions, user programmable outputs as well as gmeter and selector switch. In order to get the data package the pro must be purchased. If you want to save some money we can do a pro without a selector switch ? Just call the shop and let us know.

Installed a ams2k on this guys prostreet bike. Hes not a small guy 215 lbs in shorts. Quickest he has ever gone! Had an ams1000 before.

Battle of the States!
Top two qualifiers in x275- Fisher and Bruder Brothers ! Bruder brothers took the record with a 4.520 and minutes later Fisher takes it with a 4.519!

Top two qualifiers in ODR- Mullins and Valden! Mullins sets a new record at 4.110 with Valden on so very close with a 4.12!

AMS2k- its not hype! Its all fact!

My answer is pretty simple. The ams1000 was designed in 2004 and it is now 2014. I then proceed to ask what turbo they have on the vehicle. The answer is always the same. Latest and greatest from Precision Turbo or Garrett , Borg Warner, or whomever. Hell some guys have told me they just sold the new release stuff from the middle of last year to get the newest stuff these companies released. I tell them to take those turbos off and get some turbos from 2004. They just laugh and say your crazy. I also laugh and say your even crazier lol. Then it hits them that they just answered the question.

The technology and capability in the 2000 is unmatched and is 10 years ahead of its time. A base unit 2000 is 375 more than a 1000 and will absolutely murder it and anything else out there as well. Want all the features go with the pro. Both offer extremely well thought out software that looks professional and is very easy to use. Base unit can be upgraded at any time to a pro unit via code. Add a 5 position selector switch to pull up tunes on the fly to a base unit and your all in at 1480.00

Version 2 beta software and firmware on the website. YOU MUST ERASE ALL AMS SOFTWARE FROM YOUR COMPUTER WHEN YOU UPGRADE. ALWAYS DO BOTH A SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE UPGRADE ANYTIME YOU DOWNLOAD. INSTRUCTIONS ARE IN THE MANUAL.

Features:

Manifold pressure limitation capability- If your racing in a organization that requires boost pressure limitation and that tech password locks it you will need to use our 100 psi spec sensor for the manifold. If you want to use the limitation with out password lock you can do so with any sensor.

Do you know if your obd2 adapter could work with a 13 gtr? And in that car I have switched to the motec ecu, will that affect how it works with the obd2?

OBD2 will with a factory ecu but not a motec and obd2. Unless motec uses a standardized can messaging now.
