I use brass pipe fittings for my hat and intake with rubber lines and hose clamps or zip ties.alot of guys use an fittings and braided hose.
my regulator goes to hat,I think some run to intake,I think either is fine.
bov goes to intake.
boost gauge goes to intake
these are for blothru.

not sure about the rest,I would look at the instructions for the msd and boost control.

FPR should go to the intake or a source behind the throttle blades.

You want it 1:1 with the air at the injector, not increasing when you close the throttle and intake pipe air increases.

Yup, so it goes to the intake or ported vaccuum, not the hat.

On a blow thru the fpr needs to go to the hat.

Well , if I had my FPR on the manifold ....... it would be seeing 8psi less pressure than the fuel bowls at 22psi of boost .

Tell me how that will work out for me . lol

I have an 8psi pressure drop through the carb at 22psi .

IF I had the reg to manifold .....7psi base pressure + 22psi boost = 29psi of fuel pressure with 30psi in the bowls .

I would say there would be a big problem with that scenario .

It was a late night.

Your correct. FPR should push based off bowl pressure, which would mean the hat is the proper place for the FPR on a carb setup.

Sorry to hi jack thread but newbie to blow-thru here too, ended up up with a vortech and whole set up with what I'm guessing is a converted Holley, so several questions
I know the fitting in the hat goes to fuel pressure reg
There's a fitting toward the end on the compressor housing, don't know what hooks there.
Where should I hook up the bypass or blow off?
There's 2 vacuum lines on the side of the carb, can I just cap those?
The pcvr valve on the back bottom, cap off or what?

Any and all help would be great, thanks.
