Default Gear question for boost

Have a 1968 chevelle I'm guessing around 3,300 lbs with 10.5 tires with a 400 tranny. 6.0 Ls with a single 80 mm BW billet wheel with race cover and I'm thinking 3;55 gears would work best??

Thanks Bill

Default Re: Gear question for boost

What's the application - street, 1/8 or 1/4? Engine max rpm? WHP (i.e. mph at 3300)? Speed, tire height and gear ratio determine rpm. http://www.wallaceracing.com/calc-gear-tire-rpm-mph.php
