Vacuum hose question?

What type of heat sleeve or hose do you guys
Run in high temp areas?
Having prob with some of mine getting hit even though
They are not super close to hot side,but it
gets street driven a lot.any help be great.

Idea I came up with depending on you OD of your vacuum hose is to slip it inside 6-8steel braid AN hose. Usually the wires or hoses above the headers get hit with the most heat

The transdapt stuff is pretty good

I hate that it doesnt come in black .

You could try the vibrant Performance silicone stuff, it comes in black.
DEI has lots of heat sleeve and shielding products also. Check them out. All kinds of options.

I always run hard line near the hot side. Not worth an engine...

Is it the thick wall tubing ?

Thats what I like about the transdapt .

I'm cheap, so I use non sexy brake line usually.
Available everywhere and bulletproof.
Aluminum hardline is fine too.

I'm not sure how thick it is but I am going to order some of this later this week. Black and much cheaper then the Transdapt hose.

Might grab some myself .

Now I feel silly since I ordered a fitting from them *only they had that fitting) and needed to add parts to reach their minimum total. I ordered some of their silicone hose and it never occurred to me to call you so we could combine our order and save on the shipping. I didn't even think about it until I reread this thread.

Any decent rubber fuel hose type should be fine.

Usually the thin slicone stuff is shite. Avoid.

But easiest thing for hot or at risk locations...is re-route.
