Indy has terrible customer service, poor business ethics and are rude, arrogant assholes. They should get out of this industry completely.

WOW, this is 2012, and people are still giving those POS money???
How is it possible people have not heard how they lie, cheat & steal on a regular basis???
I'm completely shocked they are still in business!!

I drove 4 hrs to pickup A $7500 crate motor i bought off them, well as i pulled in their parking lot i had a tire going down. I was in a dodge 3500 dually,my jack would not raise the truck up on their gravel. So i go in after i pay for the motor and say "do you all have a floor jack i can borrow so i can change my tire" guy at the counter says no we dont have one. WTF they have all kinds of race cars around and shit like that you cant tell me they dont have a floor jack. NOT VERY FRIENDLY especially after i just handed him 7500 cash

Exclamation Re: BEWARE OF INDY CYLINDER HEAD

I bought a set of indy sr440 heads. It said 650hp out of the box. They were all nice until I got the heads. The heads were total junk.I called indy and they said send them back and for 2000.00 dollars more they would make them right.I had a local shop do the heads and said they were vary good heads but the way they sent to be the car would,nt have started plus the springs were junk.I will never use indy parts or go to any indy events because of them. My exact thoughts.
I've never owned a MOPAR and I'm very aware of this company.

I had them welp up some chambers on a pair of aluminum hemi heads and when they cut the receiver grooves, besides being twice the normal width, they cut it in the wrong place, thru the push rod hole,on all but two cylinders! This after been told by Russ or Jim for too long it would be done on Fri.(not recently, but probabley twelve years ago).I was so fed up and mad that I did'nt say anything (and neither did Russ) at the counter, paid my bill and then took them to my regular machinist(who was too busy at the time and I could'nt wait),showed him and he welded up the surface, and recut the receiver grooves. He couldn'nt believe a shop would put out that kind of work, and still charge for it!

I tell ya these days CSI is a very important factor in a successful business. The way it sounds these boys are "long" overdue for a rude awakening, so to speak

I've never seen / recieved bad indy components. They are fucking pricks though, almost like there wanting to NOT sell you the thousands of dollars of parts when you talk to them. It's ludicrous.I guess they can afford to act smug & talk down to people over the phone who are wanting to buy their shit.Did I say ludicrous? I ment fucking ludicrous.
