Default Air to water intercooler piping ?

Had a previous post about going air to air but decided to just go air to water with that being said right now I'm running a 393w worh a novi 2k 3inch out let on the super charger with 80mm throttle body would it be best to up the tubing size to 3.5 for all the piping for the air to water or would the 3inch be fine I plan out upgrading to a ysi after next season so I would like to get a intercooler outlet/inlet size that would support that super charger so I'm not changing a bunch of stuff up in the future thanks

You could just use 4 inch and step up to 90mm throttle body.

I'm in the middle of this now. I'm stepping up to 3.5" because my a/w has 3.5" in and out and I've always run 3" tubing into a 90mm throttle body with a silicone transition. 90mm is 3.54". Sorry quoted the wrong guy.

Yea i was thinking of just upping the throttle body size and ordering the 3.5 outlets on the intercooler just wasn't just if their would be and benefit to it since the blower outlet is only 3inch

The theme among blower guys that make some steam, has always been a huge cold side. I've never heard of an actual downside to slowing down the air with the larger tubing. No idea what benefit you'll actually gain if you do it.
