Man, that's what I wanted tonight. That or a steak caesar salad made with grilled london broil sliced thin. We had store made meatballs that were, well, not good.

Ole' lady said she wanted spicy chicken, so I threw together a marinade with chili paste, tamari, rice wine vinegar, and some random seasonings. It was pissing rain while I was grilling, but it turned out quite tasty. Paired it with some roasted broccoli....simple, healthy, tasty.

Kroger had baby back ribs on sale recently ($5.00/slab).....dropped them in the smoker w/mesquite & wrapped them in foil for the last 2-hours, delicious.

Looks good, I'd warmed some corn tortillas and made some bomb ass street tacos.

I'm headed down the shore around lunch.
I got 3 grills down there and 1 of the 3 will always be on.
Got ribs going on soon as I walk in for dinner tonight.
Rib eyes for the boys and filets for the girls tomorrow.
2 Beer can chickens so we can chop it up and pick at it.
Corn, asparagus, cole slaw.

I love holiday weekends. same 5 couples, kids, beers. lots of beers. eat like kings.

Anyone have a suggestions.

Sunscreen, antacid, and more beer.

Sounds like you have everything else about covered.

Maybe a watermelon spiked with a good tequila.

The misses has the vodka watermelon and jello shots.

We have produce junctions around here. (veggie/fruit depot) where the shits from local farms and dirt cheap and I spent 60 bucks.

It's really hard to spend that much there. Lol. Ton of fruit. Grapes, strawberries. I'll grill some pineapple. Id rather have the kids snacking on that.

With that being said I got some nice meats(Capicolo, prosciut. Nice meat try and a cigar when the kiddies go to bed lol

Yeah, I have one, on Monday ( memorial day ) go to your local national cemetery and take your kids with you, teach them what memorial day is really all about, it's not just another 3 day weekend for cook outs and getting drunk, it's about paying homage to the ones that gave all for our freedoms.

My wife and I go every year, and this year will be no different.

We do it every year.
My Old man is one of the chairman of Legion Post 371 and is also the guy who runs the Legion Riders Program(aka the guy who gets vets, and supports to go to airports to pick soldiers returning home). They do a parade every year that starts at the center of town and heads to a cemetery that holds a lot of veterans.
