Default pinion angle advice please

my trans is 5* down
driveshaft is 7* down
pinion is really close to 0*

this is in a truck with a 4 speed jerico and ladder bars

raising or lowering trans crossmember wont be too hard
adjusting pinion angle is relatively easy as well

not sure which end to adjust to make it ideal

ive searched and read and somewhat tried to educate myself but I just don't wanna make it worse or make a ton of adjustments

thanks in advance for any help

Default Re: pinion angle advice please

set pinion angle at a 3* to 3.5* up. That should allow you enough for the pinion to raise/climb up as you accelerate. Look at it this way, the transmissions center line off the of the shaft and center line of the pinion should look like a set of railroad tracks when under power ==== not crossing each others path.
