This.

I guess EVERYBODY can TIG weld and they all drive '85 Caprices or '79 Chevy PU's, stuff with loads of room underhood to "just put that shit anywhere". Sheesh. I actually value my own time, lots of yours invested in engineering this kit saves Joe Average from tearin' their hair out and possibly giving up on goin' Turbo and/or selling their project. Too much of that shit goin' on nowadays.

Doesn't look too out of line price wise. This isn't your typical Chinese built pos kit.

Now if I had sent it to CHINA and had them make it, I could sell it for $4999 and make much more money, but then it would be a big piece of shit that didn't fit well. We want to build the BEST street kit possible and this is how we chose to do it. I firmly believe that we have not only accomplished that but also that we did an excellent job at keeping the price affordable.

I would rather apoligize for the price, then have to explain the lack of quality.

This seems a little steep to me?
If you're gonna design a new street turbo system for this much $$$$$$$$, why not design it for the new model, instead of a platform over 10 year at the newest?

98-02 "Maro and Screaming Chickens is a pretty limited market and to be honest, filled with a bunch of CHEAP fuggers. The vast majority of owners a young kids and they just don't have that much money laying around.

Well honestly.....

We knew that going into it. We just saw that there was NOTHING available like this, so we thought that not only could we make something with zero to little competition but we could also build a kit for a car that was really tough to build a could kit for, there for showing off our talent, skill, and expertise.

We have sold a few of them, and so far our customers are pretty much the same:
1) they have a low mileage un-butchered F body that they want to keep that way.

2) they have been wanting to go "turbo" for years but never saw a kit they liked.

3) they want stupid crazy power, A/C, and they don't want their car to over heat.

4) they can afford it........... lol

We are already hard at work on a single kit that keeps the A/C too.

We have race kits as well.

We would really like to completely nail this car down, and then move on to another platform. Maybe the new Camaro or Mustang don't quite know yet.
We are also in the process of designing a super cheap LSX foxbody swap kit and turbo kit, look for that this summer.

I don't have any experience with this company or their turbo kit, but I will say this - ModularTurbo the way you have handled this thread speaks volumes about the kind of person you are (possibly some military training?). It must be very difficult to bite your tongue and not respond in like manner to internet keyboard warriors that feel obligated to bash your work. Well done sir, and continued good luck in the turbo kit business.

One thing that I have learned in this business is that NO MATTER how good it is or how much it cost, YOU CAN'T make EVERYBODY happy.....

Someone will always dog it.

Hell Veyron's are too expensive
The new mustang has a Chinese 6 speed
The new camaro has an IRS rear
The challenger is too heavy
The GTR has trans problems
etc etc etc
