Default C4

Took the car out last Sunday for some T&T first pass car slowed, second pass broke the transmission, no forward or reverse gears..... Got the transmission pulled and found that the input shaft had striped the splines in the converter hub and also the spline in the forward hub..... is this normal with a C4 this is the second time it has happened.

How much HP can a C4 put up with. My son in law has a fox mustang with a 351 and a 200 shot. Runs about 6.50 in the 1/8th. Probably about 550 HP on the spray. I am a powerglide guy so no idea what the C4 is good for.

Couple of nice billet forward drums available now , upgrade and will be sweet. C4 will take good power with the right build but do require maintenance if beaten on all the time

We build a lot of high hp and torque c-4's used around the globe with sucess.
Hardened shaft, billet or filled drum, rollerized planetary are some of the things that keep them alive.
