Beginner Camera Suggestion
I am looking to purchace a decent camera to use mainly for landscapes and street photography while traveling. My budget is £500 ($640).
Currently considering the Sony A6000 because of its compact form and affordable price.
Other cameras I have seen recommended are the Fujifilm X-E1.
If you have any recommendations or thoughts please let me know. I have also considered a point-and-shoot, however I think I would make use of the manual features and interchangable lenses in time.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Beginner Camera Suggestion
I'm biased toward Nikon. They have not obsoleted their F-mount since 1959, which means any lens they produced since then will mount on any of my Nikon bodies without adapters. That's my reasoning. With the prices that good glass demands, I only have 2 lenses that I've actually bought brand new. The rest are quite nice used.
For $600.00, you'll still get an SLR that's light years ahead of stuff 10-15 yrs ago. Even the kit lenses are pretty decent.
Do your research....you know what fits your needs.
