Default BBF BLUETHUNDER FUEL INJECTION MANIFOLD

Working on a BBF for a customer , switched from iron SCJ heads to Kaase P51. Heads are alot better. He had been running a Weiand tunnel ram and Enderle Birdcatcher (methanol).

I just wasn't happy with the Weiand tunnel ram, it knocked 50 cfm out of the heads. The length of the runners was about right for the third order harmonic at 7000 rpm., But at that length the line of sight was terrible with the low port entrance of the P51 head.

I wanted Marcella to do a manifold but the cust. did not want to wait. So I bought this BT manifold I think it is made to be a blower base as the runners were only about 3" long.

I epoxyed up the runners with splash zone to be right for the 4th order harmonic for 7000 rpm. The line of sight is much better.

I then coated the inside with baking laquer and baked at 300* for 40 min. to give the epoxy some protection from the methanol if any is pushed back up the runner.

I hope this thing works because it was a pain.

Here are some pics

Nice job, how much runner length did you gain?

It is used for finishing guns, called baking laquer you can get it from Brownells, it comes in a small aerosol can. The color is stainless steel , they have many colors. It is pretty durable stuff.
