Default Re: FAST dual sync distributor users

call fast and ask them if the rotor is still phased at 40 degrees advanced. I had one in my truck for a short time, it would not pull past 5000 rpms on the dyno. after countless hours on the phone with fast and different people, I finally talked to someone that knew what was going on, since I was only running 20 degrees of timing and rotor being phased at 40 degrees the pin was off too far and causing a cross fire issue inside the cap. I put a msd 2345 distributor in it with a phaseable rotor and problem went away. The msd 2345 doesnt give me a clean signal past 6200ish rpms though. i had to put a crank trigger on mine.
