Time to pick at some more brains on here and see what options are available besides the ones I know for the high hp pump/injector situation on street car. The hatch we've been testing is running out of fuel so besides going to a mechanical pump like some the other high hp blower cars we know what is working succesfully at 1500+hp on a injected centrif. street blower motor? The weldon 2345 is one I have used before and might be the easy choice again now, but want to see what some you guys (morris, kurgan,etc..) have tried besides and how they work, how many amps they pull etc..? With the Xtrim on this 438 we were fine, soon as we put the xb on the injectors started going static with the high boost, we slowed the blower down to @ 63K rpm @ 7400 but still going static everytime it sees WOT and we plan on shifting @ 7800. We have fms 160 inj. (sending to get cleaned and flowed right now since they are a few years old anyway) and a weldon 2035 pump with controller. Running 12 from tank to pump, 10 to Yblock and 8 to back of both rails, out the front of the rails into regulator with 8 return off reg. It looks like we need @ 2.8gpm and 150lb flow inj.@85 duty, a/f says 11.2-11.4, pass plugs look lil fat driver rear 2 look a little lean timing still pretty low @ 21 total from 25lb to peak of 29 on c16. What do you guys think, right now going to either swap to a 2345 weldon or aeromotive pro and a 10 return -would love to hear some more opinions and options we need to hit the track again next week and finish up nicks license runs and looking to go full throttle, already went a way too easy 128 in the 1/8th rolling into it and coasted to a 9.0 on his 2nd pass ever on the car doing his 2nd 60ft pass . thanks in advance
