Looking for Hydraulic Roller camshaft specs for my pump gas 496.
I have a 1985 Monte Carlo SS. It weighs 3800lbs with me in it. It is a pump gas (93 octane) 496 BBC with a 4L80E manual valve body transmission, midway converter about 4k stall speed, 9" with 4.10 gears with a locker. It is a street/strip car. More street than strip.Has a/c,p/s, power brakes. I need to have SOME vacuum for the brakes and transmission.
The engine, 496- mahle 18cc Pistons- Brodix BB-2 Plus heads that were the 110cc angle milled. Cambers were opened up some to use pump gas. Compression is about 10.5:1. Performer RPM air gap intake manifold with a Holley HP 950 Carb. E-curve disturbtor. 3 and 1/2 exhaust to the mufflers then 3" out with tailpipes.
I'm going to run Morel Hydraulic rollers lifters. 7k rpm max.
