hell ive got SS headers, alum exhaust, pro mod 94mm turbos, tial wastegates 60mm, all the v-bands, etc.......The turbos that you pic will contribute HIGHLY to the price, you can get a good deal on GT series now that the pro-mod stuff is out, id say with all the custom work and I dont know if you plan on doing the fab work your self or not, (you do it easy 10-12k) have it done 15-20k

This is a post Monty did a while back ago. Remember some prices will be lower than this but wanted to be fair to the people who sold them.. This is also for EFI.. remove the costs for EFI and you should get a ballpark number...

Some of these prices are high and you can shop around for better deals with no problems.. I had some deals cut but did not want to list the pricing so I went with list prices in most cases...

$2200 = 106mm turbo
$2400 = intercooler
$900 = 60mm wastegate
$720 = injectors
$250 = throttle body
$50 = TPS sensor
$90 = MAP sensor
$15 = Oil drain
Total for turbo parts = $6625

$1550 = 304 SS tubing, aluminum tubing, V-clamps and Misc..
$300 = 304 SS header flanges
$600 = 2 merge collectors
$200 = Crossover pipe
Total for header and intercooler parts = $2650
Total to have this stuff done by a shop will run between $8000 - $16000

Pistons = $500
Cam = $400
FAST Unit = $3300
Fuel Pump = $850
Water cell = $150
Waterpump = $300
Convertor = $1100
Boost controller = $200
CO2 bottle and misc = $400
Total for motor mods = $7200

Grand total for you to convert will be (doing header.cooler work yourself)... $16475
Having header/cooler work done for you = $21825 (low end)
Having header/cooler work done for you = $29825 (high end)

Do the work yourself and you will need..

Tig welder = $1800
Tig misc = $400
Grinder/sander = $200
Bandsaw = $600
Total for tools needed = $3000

Total for all tools and doing work yourself is $19475

Then if you are going to run alcohol you will need the wide band 02 for the big stuff $2000 option
also you will want to run a MAG 44 those are $35-$4500
You'll also need a set of 500+ lbs per hour injectors $2500-$3000
It just keeps going and going and going!!!!!! LOL

So many variables in this. Everything can vary greatly in cost depending on how nice you want it and how much power you want to make. I'd tell you it would start at $10k and could go up to $30k if you want the best of the best as far as parts and build quality/craftsmanship you can get.

It started with 10K and the calculations ended up towards the 30K mark. LOL. It seems like thats how it ends up being. The big stuff you can calculate, but when you get to the small details, thats when it adds up. The small stuff to finish the setup adds another $2-3K :)

You could do it for 20K.... maybe cheaper if you cut corners but you might as well not cut corners because this 20-25K will be the cheapest part of the deal if you race the car :)
