It will have a iron LQ9 block, turbo with A/A intercooler, all suspension will be moly including spindles. Front is tubed from about 1st quarter of strut towers forward. I will order the shocks with the kit to take advantage of the bundle price so I dont have a weight yet on the car.
My lt1 car has a stock k member, stock hood, no front bumper support, no p/s or hvac system, totally gutted car. This is with an iron block and cast alum intake. I have the 275lb/inch springs in mine, and they're just right. if i had a lightweight k member and hood with no rad support, i'd go to a 250. But you have the turbo, plumbing and intercooler. Id start with 300 and go from there
Also, keep in mind that half of the control arms, tie rods, shocks and springs along with all the weight of the spindles/brakes/wheels is not sprung, and won't affect the spring rate requirement.
