I'm looking to start possibly building a go kart. has anyone on here ever done it? i wanna make one like this but without the plastics. just the metal.

ive built a few and modified a few. just did an emmick shifter kart, I converted it to a paddle shifter and has 3 pedals now instead of two.

No idea why you would want to build one, just not cost effective. If you understood all the geometry and had the proper knowledge,equipment/tools to do so. Otherwise just buy a used chassis and be done with it. If this is for competition use I don't know a Karting federation that would allow you to race a home built non manufactured/homologated chassis.

Btw. the kart you linked to is a "kids Kart".
