John has informed me that they have just dyno'd a new engine, the engine is a 440ci, 4' stroke/6" rod with a 4.185" bore, on top it has the new Kaase/CHI C400 heads and new C400 4500 intake, its 15:1 compression, cam is high 270* @ .05 intake/880 lift and 290/.800 lift exhaust, fuel was vp Q16.
Im informed it will be put into the dandy engines XW and hopefully raced sometime in January. Certainly looks like it delivered the goods, and what a high end C build is capable of. This off cleveland site in Aust. and 54 forum nice number for small block ford engine Jim

That should get it done.
I'd love to build an engine with a set of CHI heads. Maybe next season. |

A 4 FOOT stroke should make it a lot more than 440 cubes... or did you mean inches?
Impressive engine for sure. Is that a 9.2 deck? |

Think its a 9.2 block ? 4.0 x 4.185 bore? Its not my , wish it was maybe for xmas. find its on the 54 forum cleveland. and more on the austraila forum for cleveland. Think going in 4 door falcon in aust. new heads from chi cnc porting .

I just wish that the CHI heads didn't get lumped in with the Yates stuff as far as weight goes. I would think that on a 9.2" or 8.7" deck it would count as stock valve angle Cleveland.

Will see what they do with a 106 in front of the CHI heads. They ran great with the F2 in front of it, and I never really got a good clean it with a solid tune up on it.
