He could pick up a couple of tenths getting rid of the stock bucket seats. They weigh a ton!! It is cool he kept the stock interior though.

Rear: Ford 9” Traction-Lock, 3.70:1 gears.

Upgrades: Ford one wire 130A alternator (’95 Mustang GT), Spal dual 11” electric fans, Howe Racing aluminum radiator, ’86-89 Ford Ranger master cylinder, Granada front disc brakes, Traction bars (my home made copies of Cal-Tracs), Crites Sub-frame connectors, 3 point retractable seat belts in rear.

Exterior Modifications: Crites fiberglass hood, Weld Pro Star wheels w/BFG’s. Front: 15 x 6 (3.5 B.S.) - 215/60/15 & Rear: 15 x 7 (4.5 B.S.) - 255/60/15.

I was a drag strip virgin until this past November and so was the Fairlane. In street trim it went 13.45 @ 105. I'm doing a few upgrades this winter and looking for 12's.

this is an awesome thread. i love all the fairlanes.
i'm partial to the 64's. but love them all. i had a 64 when i was a kid my dad and i was going to restore it,we were in the middle of it and my parents got divorced and sold the car.
ever since then i keep saying i'm going to get another and build it and someday i will.
keep up the good work guys. beautiful cars. and the 67 in the video is off the hook, a small block stick car, phuckin rocks.

Default 66 2dr Club Coupe

This isn't a drag car, but I have owned it for 23 years. It was my first car. My dad and I started the first restoration when I was 15.
