This is the place Rob. It's just off of 115 on a road called Drag Lodge Rd. I never knew it was there or the place I stopped by after reading about it yesterday near Bath.

I was noticing the 75/80 background on Motorweek when they were testing an 09 Rolls Royce on last weekends show, lots of overgrowth but still looks mostly intact.

But it was recently purchased and new owner started rebuilding! The track was a "cut" through the terrain. They are now excavating and making the overall area wider and probably safer. Used to be 1/4 many years ago but has been 1/8th most recently. It will be re-opened as 1/8th mile from what I hear. www.lassitermountaindragway.com
I ran one race there the last year it was open in a true radial class. Beautiful scenery! Very unique layout!!

Anyone have any info or pics on Flemington Dragway in NJ? I think it closed sometime in the early 70's. It was off RT.12 on Pittstown Rd. It is owned by the county now and I believe they use it for a pistol range for local and county police. Here's a current photo from google earth.

Doug,
You're right about Meander/Youngtown Drag City having been called Ellsworth Township Dragway for a while. The fellow who was running it when it was named that was also running Sunset Dragway outside of Mercer. I think he re-named Sunset as Charleston Raceway Park.
