Have had good luck with the th350/400 stall convertors from redneck ,all the way up to 4500 for sbc stroker . Then was buying their 700r4 stall convertors (3 total ) one of them was not built right tore pump up and cracked nose off convertor .Shocked would not stand behind there work since purchased over 6 convertors in a 2 year span , oh well . Now there prices are the same as othere companies so no deal now - buy from who you want .We are now using a Precision of new hampton 5200 stall works awsome behind 565 bbc going on 3 years (race only ) .Goodluck on your purchase from whoever .

Just checked out their website and didn't see anything about fixture welding the case or electronic balancing. If the pump hub isn't welded on correctly or the unit is out of balance you are gonna pay alot more in the long run. Also didn't see anything about a tranny dyno to test the trannies before they ship.
Just my two cents.

I've bought 4 converters from them, all stalled pretty much where they said they would. And I have had no failures either! It's a few times where I got at least a little more than what I paid for! lol

Redneck isn't Art Carr. I've been a WD for Art Carr for 6-7 years now. I'm one I of the biggest for the Midwest area.

They do dyno test prior to shipping.I had one of their C4 combo's and had good luck with it.

"Redneck isn't Art Carr. I've been a WD for Art Carr for 6-7 years "

they are connected in some way, i called and asked, the lady who answers the phone at art-carr confirmed. Even the pictures they use on the ebay ads are the same.

i believe that the people at redneck formerly worked for artcarr. when he sold it and moved to cali a few of his guys seperated and opened up redneck. i have had one of their convertors, it was too tight at first so i called and he sent me a shipping label to get it back to him for free. sent it back and he restalled it for me and shipped it back free. Broke the inner sprag race about 3 months later and called them up, sent it back to them and all they charged me for was the spragless upgrade part--no labor. ran it for another 2 years and just sold it. id buy another one if i was building on a budget again---i think they are probably fine up to around 750 h.p. after that there is no need to go budget because you aren't budget building anymore once you reach that much power level

I just installed a redneck torque converter on my C-4 and had it stalled at 4,000. I am also using their trans brake, and the combo works awesome.

My invoice from Redneck said Art Carr on it when I bought a converter from them a few years ago.
