I would raise the back of the car up some and possibly stiffen the extension on the rear shock..

I have a friend with one of these that runs Super Stock on on stock Suspenesion with 11" tires and will almost flip over backwards but it sets pretty high in the rear

I have put the car on the bumper with the footbrake and again almost did it off the brake leaving off lower rpms off the 2 step. that's when the track is ideal. Below is a link of it leaving great when we had the 4L60E in it. It was hit or miss though. Now we have the 1.80 glide in it so we should be able to hook anytime anywhere off the converter at our power level.
