No, I'm in TN...I just kept my 805 area code when I moved out from Santa Barbara co. (Santa Maria/ Luis Obispo area). You can call the office # as well. Either one.

Agreed. Leaning towards a 572 to 582. Just debating between a tall deck 10.200" or short deck 9.800". Dart has a couple of cast iron block options that seem interesting. One of them is the Big M Pro.

I like the raised cam which should shorten pushrod length and hopefully provide more stable valvetrain for a motor that will be street driven from time to time. The spread oil pan rails are also a nice feature to assist in reducing windage. I do plan on going dry sump as well but every little bit counts. It is about $700 more than a "standard" Big M block and seems to be worth it on paper.
