Javier was crew chief on Randy Merricks Corvette. I was on the crew of the Budweiser Nova and was the first door slammer to run 230mph at Bristol.

I had the opportunity to race with Bruce and a few of these guy's he mentioned in his post. This was a great bunch of racers with some bad azz car's. I would also say that Roger and Bill Gustin where first class guy's to race for. Fun Times!!

Loved watching them, and standing on the starting line is very cool when a pair leaves. We use to run exhibition right after them for years at Maple Grove. Always a great time.
