you will need a good working chassis and about 1100-1150HP to get in the 7's. One of our customer has a 632 with 1245HP in a 2350# car and runs 7.25s

First it does not matter what the engine dynos. What matters is how much HP based on the weather the engine is making at the track. If the dyno was sitting on the starting line and you made 1000 uncorrected HP, you should run in the 7's.

Yeah, but what if one is a stock suspension car and one is a full tube 25.2 chassis?

What then.

I think that A headed deal you are working on will get you there. You'll have way more than enough to run S/G.

you guys must not know how to set up a car or something, 1000hp to run 7's ?....i run low 6.50's in good air, and i would guess i make 650 hp or so....now if the OP is talking 1320, that changes everything. lol

We were 2550 and had a 565 that dyno'd at 1030 and went mid 7.80s in real good air. However in dead heat do summer we were 7.95 to 8.01.
