I beg to differ!...
I think those jobs were slated to be gone before the electronic age!...

Its done both, it has made many good things instantly accessible, it has also made many bad things instantly accessible. I believe it has made people lazier and less likely to actually follow up with someone they don't have standing in front of them. I like doing business face to face and not via email, I do realize in the modern world email, text and cell phone are the way it is done, doesn't mean I can not prefer face to face interaction.

I don't think kids are learning to socialize like we used to. I also think kids are much lazier than they used to be...

I have learned more from the internet than I ever did from a school teacher.

It gives pretty much anyone the knowledge database to do anything. Just YB has 100 ways to do any one thing. You can skip mistakes by talking to experianced people as well.

Oh and it makes cheating easier in a relationship too, or helps fill a single mans weekend with easy women. Some may be married.

Both. First it has broaden the medical field, war field, and even more and more inventions are created cause of it.

The bad: made people fucking stupid and easily fooled into lies, scams and cheats. Also is inhibits ones intellectual abilities duri g face to face interactions.

It is a tool that we take for granted. It has given us so much but, it has also taken so much. Texting and driving deaths are increasing everyday, and people are more worried about what people on FB think of them than what their own kids, husband ect do. It has also pusified Americans into hiding behind computers to fight battles ect.

I love and I hate it at the same time.

resisted texting when i got my smart through my job. It is now more text then talk type of interaction with customers. I prefer phone or face to face but one must change with the times or be left behind.

who in there right mind would steal your password for a pizza joint ??? is ordering extra cheese a secret in some parts ???
LOL

I think it has made people less socialable as now instead of talking or seeing them , they text them , and its making society lazier , an why should a phone have 500 features ?? is it a swiss army phone ???

as for technology making people live longer is it really better ?? is it a better quality of life or quantitiy of life , as it takes more resources to keep people who are up in age from dieing that can be used elsewhere only to have them pass anyways . and there are 4x the ammount of people now than in 1900 and now we cannot feed them , employ them , or keep them from being a burden on society ..

LOL...I thought about this when my kids were watching the movie "Wall-E" from Disney....funny thing is, I didn't remember the name and just had to use google to remember what it was ...go figure
