Default Jeep Wrangler 4 door

I have a beautiful 2011 Silverado extended cab 4X4 with a matching cap that I love but getting bored with it......... Looking at the new 4 door Wranglers......looked at a new 2013 black 4 door that looked super sharp........ I'm sure the ride won't be as nice as my full size truck but that's to be expected given the shorter wheelbase........

The one I looked at had the V6 with the 5 spd. auto....didn't get a chance to drive it though........

I don't drive a lot and my Silverado only has 22k on it in 2 1/2 years.....

Whats the opinion on the 4 door Wranglers........

My boss just got one but auto. It is a little gutless but I'm sure the 5sp will be better.other than that its nice. Doesn't ride to bad for a solid axle.

Gotta love Jeeps. They seem to hold their resale value better than trucks. If you don't need a truck....then go for it.

I have a 2013 4 door rubicon, auto with 4:10 gears. It runs pretty good for a V6. I test drove a Sahara with the 3:21 gears and it was a turd. The little bit I get to drive mine I love it. Plus the top and the doors can come off for nice days. If you get one I would at least make sure it has the 3:73 gears in it. The rubicon is the only one that you can get the 4:10 gears. I am getting about 15 MPG with mine in the city. I'm sure the gears are not helping but I didn't buy it for fuel economy.

I had a lifted 2011 jeep wrangler 4-door, only reason i got rid of it cuz i needed a truck. I
Loved everything about it but it being under powered, couldn't even tow jet skies, the lift killed it. The new 13's are supposed to have more power & being stock height you should t have same problem as mine, I miss being able to take doors off, I paid $30,600 for mine then added lift & tires, when I traded it in with 15k miles, they gave me $30,400 so they have great resell

Have a 2013 4 door Sahara with the 6 spd manual. It's too small for my liking. I have always had crew cab pick ups and full size SUV's. The ride is actually decent unless it's a windy day, than the wind bounces you around like a pinball. Mine is pretty gutless also as I opted for the 3.21 rear gear. I average 18 mpg. Once this company lease is done, back to a pick up for me.

Ours has 35s and 3.73s and its not too bad. Drove one at a dealer with 37s and 3.21s, what a joke. Clutch every 500 miles is in its future.
