Default Fast bracket sbc

Got a little 460ishCI SBC (4.185/4.250) 13.5-14.1 comp, with a Kevin self sheetmetal intake, T2 terminator, Brodix gb2300 casted/weldtech lightened heads, 2 1/4 headers, low 700ish lift cam, 2350-2400lbs tube chassis camaro 4.56 gears, powerglide and adding a vacuum pump. Hoping it'll at least run 5.40s in the 1/8th. Setup hasn't been down the track yet though. Just looking to make a half ass fast bracket car. Would adding another T2 or putting down nozzles in it make any more power or would it not be worth it? Pros/cons?

Would love for it to run quicker, but satisfied with 5.40s. Any input welcomed, the combination was bought with the car. We just took it apart to build it NA since it'll be a bracket car, it was built for nitrous.

Thanks! Hope it runs as good as it sounded before we took it apart. Previous owner was spraying it pretty good, had 38 pills in each stage. Just took it to the machine shop to order new pistons, cam (4/7 swap), and freshen it up with all new bearings.

2 terminators and a lot of rpm should do the trick

Not real sure. Heard it went 4.70s on a small shot. I don't know how small or how good it was tuned at that time.

Should go pretty good. Our 468 went 5.10 N/A and 4.71 with a 32 pill at 2200lbs.

In my opinion 2 throttle bodies would be better so the air has a straighter shot to the valve. Was this engine previously ran with the Single T2 mounted like that?

I think you will get your goal of 5.40's fairly easily. I know a guy who had those heads on a 454 SBC with dual Toilets and ran 4.60-4.65 at 1600lbs

Iron eagle tall deck.

Yes Scott, the T2 was mounted like that already. Will probably give you guys a call before its back from the machine shop to add another T2. Don't remember what size the pump is I'll have to look.

I was realistically thinking it should run 5.20s, but didn't want to set my bar too high! Anything faster than .40s is just that much better to me.
