When I tell everyone it is fed 20+lbs and spun over 7000, we'll be told again that "you can't do that"

Well we've been doing it for years.

Had a similar combination in a customers car 3-4 years ago that ran 50's and I believe is still out there running that number.

Mint work! I spin LS motors way higher than most too. My L92 hydraulic cam stock short goes 7500 all the time. Stock "heavy" valves too. Post that up and a lot of flames but meh? Works for me and clearly this works for you

Care to share the turbo specs?

No, it's a truck engine from an 01 Silverado with a bunch of miles on it.

I have an S10 that I'm putting together for myself with a similar setup.

yeah, I bet it doesnt have the stock sparkplugs, stock oil filter, and stock oil that it came with from the factory.

whats the world coming to nowadays when you call a shortblock stock and you CHANGED THE OIL FILTER?????

That s10 was our combination. Stock intake and rod bolts as well. 25 lbs boost and nitrous with no intercooler. Was a 2003 motor. Never 60' ft as well as other combinations are going now.

The owner of the truck is putting a mustang together.

There is an alcohol l33 5.3 being put together here locally as well which should fly. I had organized a race specifically for stock bottom end ls motors. I have posponed it due to no one being quite ready and wanting a large turnout.

I am not a "hater" I could care less if it is a Briggs and strattion engine in a Ferrari or a LS_ in whatever. Just so many out there like to "mislead" not saying this paticular combo is or isn't

I am no "LS" expert but that does not sound like any stock cam to me? I dunno.
Congrats either way I am not trying to piss in your corn flakes. Carry on, I love to see a lot being done with little.

Very impressive, haters are going to hate, they dont seem to understand how tough the LS motors are. Oh well.

Anyhow, Its been asked a few times, and you said 20+ and 7000 rpm.

How many is 20+lbs of boost? THeir are alot of ls guys here with 5.3s, myself included. just looking for a little more insight on what people are getting away with.
