Not trying to start a pissing match but the 255 hi ports I have flowed are nowhere near 390 cfm and have yet to see a set of them run really well... A high port is a great head with tons of potential but if your doing a max effort 20* combination your gonna need a custom set or just go with the Brodix raised runner from Kuntz... Custom head by a proven shop

Here's were I got my info from,an ad Gary Brandt has on PSCA racing site:

Fresh Brodix Track 1 cylinder heads by Kuntz and Company. These are the premier heads for stock valve angle classes or just to make big power. Heads flow 352 intake and 269 exh. and have been completely freshened up with no runs.

Those aren't the same t1 head these guys are referring too.

Well Dave so far I have yet to see anyone with the Kuntz head. I can tell you that with only 3 passes my TEA 255's went 4.91 144.66 at MIR Fri night. 1 kit on 275's.

you know Dave, I try to get along with most anyone, but anytime TEA is mentioned you jump right in there to shoot them down/degrade them. you and Dan since back when you to worked together habe had a "hard-on" for TEA/Brian Tooley ever since. see smokiem went 4.90's with his. what have yous done? neevr get in on the Bullet and tear you stuff down like you do others? since I assume you port heads, serious question, do you own/have a flow bench?? and ifso what brand/size? just curious here....

both in the right hands will work great. myself if I use and customer wants to spend the coin I do things on them little different in components chosen, but are still very good right has they normally come.

any ways goodluck

As it should with its raised intake port location and widened port entry requiring offset intake pushrod seat lifter. I was never questioning its abilities. it should be the better of the two heads.

since I believe you use to work for Kuntz, what does set of the T1RI heads all titanium (or atleast Ti int & Ss exh valves) with springs good for .900-.950" lift go for?? I heard close to $6000.

the TEA highport, which im sure is a little behind the T1RI is about $3800-3900, even less if all SS valves are used.

Im for one excited to see what it really the first RR sbf 20* inline head to come, as we (ford guys) never had a raised runner intake OE vlave ange head to compete agaisnt SBC camp's several offerings with raised runner intake 23* stuff.

Thanks man. That was my first 4 sec pass and only my third full pass with the 255's. I only made one hit. Lost spark. Got it home and discovered that my damper was backing out causing the crank trigger wheel to lose contact with the pickup . Tune up was extremely rich. Progressed from 30 to 100 in 1.75. Defiantly was awsome to run that good. Its the white car in right lane around 14.40 into video.

Brian Tooley has had more class champions in one season than you have your whole career.

When you have heads on 7 of the 9 season champs... then you can talk.

Get over yourself and hating on TEA.
