Default Top Dragster Blower Motor

Who builds the best blower motor for all the Top Dragsters that are popping up?
Is the blower motor more reliable than spraying a big motor with NOS?

Gary Stinnett has a few running out there, they seem to be very repeatable and hold up. There's always Sunset Racecraft and Matt Driskell as well............ JB

If you know how to tune them blower motors can be very repeatable. I just ran three 4.05's in arow in eliminations on Saturday.

Fowler Engines in Ohio builds some nice blower combo's. If you are in the south, give me a call. I have some good T/D and T/S combo's. 337-543-2028

Ed Wasserbeck and his side-kick Sam in the little village of Prospect, Ohio build some bad-ass MF'ers.

Blower motors can be very consistent.
As far as a blower motor being more reliable than a nitrous motor, I don't think one has the advantage over the other.
As always, as long as your tune up is good you should be OK. Have the fuel system go lean on you and you will have problems with either set up.
Timing is probably not as a big an issue with the blower motor than with the N20 engine.
Just remember the more hp you make, your reliability factor will get smaller.
I work very closely with a T/D out of Phoenix that runs 6.0's. It is very consistent and reliable.
We also change out rods and pistons at 50 runs.
Best of success with which ever you choose.
