Couldn't have said it better. E-85 out of the pump here in Iowa is $2.85 a gallon, VP can keep it unless they are competative in price with the pump stuff.

I'm going to pick some E98 up later this week near St. Louis for $230/drum. Blend it to E85 myself and have a consistent blend for about $4.25/gallon.

That is what I was thinking 8 gallons of race gas in a 55 gallon drum.
Your at less then 50% of the price and lose less then 4% hp.

Why would you switch from Race Gas to Ethonal if your going to pay the same or more? That just doesnt make sense. And I REALLY doubt that the c85 will be a minimum of .10 faster then E85. So why again would somebody want to buy it?

Where in Iowa are you getting your fuel and have you tests it lately. I need some true e-85.

This is the worst form of marketing I have ever seen.

Why in the hell would anyone no matter what the gains SAY pay 7 bucks a gallon MORE for something that works WONDERFUL out of the pump for 3.50-4 a gallon?

It better be better than methanol with the dyno charts scanned and copied to the pail of fuel to justify the cost. Even then I wouldn't believe it for a second.

I love VP and their race gas and how they support the racers/races, but this is ridiculous if true.
